This scarf is handwoven using my own hand-dyed and handspun 50/50 Merino/silk “dappled peacock” yarn along with a finer commercial 50/50 Merino Silk Zephyr yarn. The difference in yarn weight gives the illusion of a waffle weave and a more gentle fade in color. It is soft and lofty and reminiscent of a confetti angelfood cake!
The finished scarf measures 13″ wide by 83″ long and weighs only 126 grams!
It is a perfect blend of warmth and breathability.
Hand-washable with gentle soap and lay flat to dry.
This beautiful scarf was woven mostly out in the garden in the Kootenays in Crawford Bay, BC.
