This amazing thick and thin art yarn is made with a custom colorway with a name that might raise an eyebrow or two, but it’s based on hot pink and a teal color called mallard green.  Makes sense, right?  It is spun from a Merino Silk blend that has been thread plied with a high quality viscose thread in teal.  An online Instagram poll was conducted to determine the thread color and this skein also has some Kootenay Lake vibes spun into it!  This yarn is so much fun to weave with and gives textiles great texture and character. I’ve used this style of yarn for both warp and weft and it holds up nicely.
