Handblown Glass Christmas Ornament – Transparent Shards

Description

This is a handblown glass ornament suitable for hanging on your Christmas tree or enjoying in a window all year round. This unique ornament was made by applying layers of “shards” from another ornament that was smashed into pieces over a new clear ornament.  The result is a fabulous ethereal, icy looking bauble.   These ornaments are made by hand without the use of a mold and are all uniquely shaped, generally approaching round.

This ornament measures 8.8 centimeters in diameter and weighs 88 grams.
All of my ornaments come in a tissue lined gift box for easy gift giving and storage.
