This amazing handspun thick and thin art yarn is made in a custom colorway with a funny name inspired by the bright colors in a friend’s plaid patterned bikini!  It is spun from a Merino Silk blend that has been thread plied with a high quality viscose white thread so as not to interfere with the color blend.   This yarn is so much fun to weave with and gives textiles great texture and character. I’ve used this style of yarn for both warp and weft and it holds up nicely.
